Seattle is magic. In the company of new friends and old, we weathered the ‘storm of the year’, and adventured through the forest to find ourselves on a rocky beach on the other side. The rain came down in a gentle mist (as it often does) as we said hello to towering redwoods, and fellow passers-by, and snuggled in close to hide from the wind. Sherry and Jocelyn are the kind of people that you make fast friends with. Tossing around inside jokes and personifying their boston terriers with comical voices. It was obvious why our friends adore them. They took turns helping each other over tangles of roots and elaborated on their love for the city they called home. They’ve since gotten engaged and made a big move to Florida, but I like to think that the trees will always call them back.
