Friendship, a feeling like being surrounded by air warmed by the sun, is one of those qualities that some people are just magnetic to. Emily and Nick are those people. Their wedding felt like a reunion where old friends qualified as family, all so happy to see one another.
I’m convinced they’ve never met a stranger. Comfortable, elegant, and adorned in colors of wine, they were married at Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg, Va. The day could not have been more uniquely theirs, family played a big part of their ceremony with Emily’s brother as officiant, they cut their cake with a freakin’ sword, a bagpiper friend occasionally sprinkled the air with melody, and they exited in a blaze of sparklers. Certainly one for the books.
