After the last few days of feeling literally buried by the aftermath of ‘snowzilla’ here in DC, I thoroughly enjoyed retreating into these images from what is arguably our most sunshiney proposal session yet.
Chris and Ariana’s story is one worthy of having a movie made after it. Californian high school sweethearts forced to part ways for college only to reconnect by chance eight years later in San Francisco. The movie writes itself doesn’t it?! During a quick trip to DC, Ariana joined Chris on a quick jaunt through the park for some sightseeing on their way to what she believed was an outing with his work colleagues. Chris played it perfectly casual, taking a few selfies with Ariana before kneeling down to ask her to marry him. A simple, beautiful beginning to many more wonderful adventures for these two!
