A riverside outdoor wedding with an around-the-corner first look, rustic reception, and a bride that sings
Lisa and Andrew are some of the nicest people we know and it was clear to us from the first time we met them that their wedding day was going to be something special. Their warmth and kind-heartedness came through in the many emotional moments and happy tears that showed up in each portion of the day as friends and family were visibly overjoyed for the future that this couple was beginning.
Murray Hill served as a gorgeous setting for a relaxed day that fulfilled all of our expectations as we had been wanting to cover a wedding there for quite some time. Every cozy space from the getting ready rooms inside the beautiful house, to the river view overlook as backdrop to their ceremony, and open air barn reception made for the perfect space to celebrate this wonderful couple with their close friends and family.
Quite possibly our favorite part of the day was that Lisa and Andrew opted to share a no-see first look with each other ahead of their ceremony. They took a moment to hold hands, read personal notes from one another, and pray together. It was their way to build in a quiet moment for themselves—something we encourage all our couples to do. The whole day was spent celebrating their commitment to one another culminating in an epic party complete with singing performance by Lisa and a starlit vintage car send off.
