Being around Elizabeth and Dale is to be instantly adopted into their family. They ooze warmth, friendship, and authenticity. Having met through their local church, where Dale is a youth pastor, they infused their wedding with community.

The day started at two cozy, homey Airbnb’s near downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth quietly prepped her own makeup in a perfectly styled loft. Soft giggles of friends and siblings carrying up the stairs. Down the road Dale and his guys put on their finishing touches at a cabin fit for a gingerbread fairytale.

Faith, not only how they met, but also a major part of their lives, was essential to their ceremony. After a tear-jerking first sight walking down the aisle they met underneath a stunning angular pavillion surrounded by a lush forest of trees. Their pastor led a beautiful service interspersed by the sound of their favorite hymns sung by friends and family. As an act of love and commitment to one another Elizabeth and Dale incorporated foot washing into their ceremony. A humbling first gesture to their new spouse made all the more special by the gentle rain that began at the very same moment. Umbrellas popping up just as swiftly as the laughter.

There were so many more moments of celebration made perfectly unique with the added delight of breakfast for dinner. And we’re talking a whole spread; waffles, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, a bagel station, every breakfast meat you could dream of, and on it goes. I can’t think of anything more inviting than conversation over breakfast foods with all of your closest loved ones.
