Let’s start by calling out the obvious, you haven’t heard from us in a while. And if I’m being perfectly honest, it’s all because I have a hard time talking about myself. Telling the world that I think a photo we took is rad or a wedding we witnessed should be seen by all is just a task that proves difficult for me to reconcile. We adore the peeps we get to work with and want everyone to know it. And I get that the only way that you will know what coolness we were a part of, is if I tell you. So, without labeling this as a grand new year’s promise (because those never really get followed up on do they?) I am making 2017 my year of sharing. More photos and more of us. Because, even though there’s a chance we might be a bit weird, you just might be the same flavor of weird and totally dig it.
Last year took us to Georgia for an awesome summer outdoor wedding, saw a Willie Nelson show and met the sweetest family in Nashville, ran through the forest in the rain in Seattle, paddled a canoe (and did some hiking) for at least five and a half hours a day for four days in Algonquin Provincial Park in Canada, and became godparents to our nephew. There were countless moments that made us pause and think, ‘dang we’re lucky to be here’.
2016 rocked and 2017 is shaping up to be our best year yet. We can’t wait to meet more amazing people. Cheers to new adventures ya’ll!
