East Village and The Battery, New York City Engagement Photos
We all know the feeling, you’re excited to go on a date with a great guy you met on Coffee and a Bagel. First date nerves growing as the end of the day gets closer, everything seems to be adding to the anticipation. Work has run late and when Jess was finally headed to the bar, she realizes that somewhere along the way she’s lost one of her earrings. But there is an inkling that this was all meant to be because despite all this chaos, Jess managed to both retrace her steps to find her earring and make it to East Village Social where a very patient Yousuf was waiting for her.
With a story like that, it goes without saying that we had to go back to the bar where they first met in person for their engagement photos. So on a warm summer day they drank Coronas at the open-window bar, wandered the brownstone lined streets of the East Village, and paused to hang out underneath crawling ivy and floral trees. Then we hopped into a cab and went over to The Battery, formerly known as Battery Park, near where they live to enjoy a golden sunset over the Hudson River.
