It goes without saying that New Zealand is breathtaking. Between the spectacular scenery and the decadent food, our first three days here have been a complete joy. Yesterday we took a hike along the Hitapa Walk on Waiheke Island from Rocky Bay to Te Whau Vineyard. Forgetting to pack water, for what turned into a 3 mile hike through the hilly coastline, was swiftly rewarded with lunch and wine that topped our lists of all time favorites.
